Getting Older but Getting Wiser at the Same Time

Perhaps not! Tomorrow is my birthday and this time last year we have had a nice meal in Regent Street and drunken golden ales from “ The Shakespeare’s Head” and for the night we had a nice bottle of red… Those were good memories mate!
Tomorrow?! I don’t know actually. I have never enjoyed celebrating my birthday since I moved to Istanbul cause of all those mad impressions about the 1st of May in this city. By the way it is not possible to go out due to the strikes.
But maybe I can recommend you a couple of things to do in London when it is sunny and warm, or just without rain :D
If you decided to stay somewhere near the west end where the postcodes start with a “W”;
Is a pub managing by a friend and they have an amazing garden which is perfect for BBQ and a cold cider. If you go there on Sunday you should try their roasts. You know what it is one of the rare pubs you can actually have a pig head like in traditional movies J
It is just near to the Thames River and so close to the Bishop’s Park where you can have a lovely walk afterwards.

Walk to the Hyde Park:
It was my favourite things to do in London just buy some strawberries and white wine or beer whatever you like from Tesco and chill out. If you are too lazy to carry picnic mat -like me- you can rent some sunbathing chairs J
Once my boyfriend and I saw some girls were having an early bachelorette party with LOTS of champagne on grass, I have already wrote it down to my list!

Shopping!
If you have a chance to pick your own gifts I recommend you to go to Carnaby Street because you can buy a vintage or second hand piece by yourself at any time you want from Camden Town or Nothing Hill. Birthdays are the times you should feel like a princess :D
So you should start from Regent Street and go deep down to the little streets maybe it won’t be very expensive but even it is so little it will from high street  just like Kate ;P
Have a Lunch or something between Lunch and Dinner:
Our favourite spot was in Kingly Court; “Cha Cha Moon”. We have tried almost everything on the menu and they are delicious if you love Chinese food like us. Just a sec. I didn’t like that soup like thing which comes with ‘Crispy duck lao mian’ but duck was delicious. Prices are really good for example the most expensive thing on the menu is £9.

Have more refreshments:
You should drink like a British if you are in Britain so after the meal you should have refreshment in another pub even if you had a bottle of wine or beer with the meal. Then I invite you to The Shakespeare’s Head mates…or you can choose one of the pubs you like for traditional ale.

That’s all for now cause I ‘m tired I need a pint!!!
